  BOILERMAKER  NIGHT

Join us for an incredible evening as we join forces with White Bay Brewery for a sensory journey honouring the great boilermaker tradition of pairing a Rum with a crisp, cool beer after a hard days work.

Stories are murky as to how the boilermaker first came into existence, but it’s pretty clear it was originally consumed by blue collar workers at the end of a long shift.

It’s believed the drink takes its name from the workers who built and maintained steam locomotives in the 1800s. These workers were known to head to the bar at the end of a shift, take a shot of whisky followed by a crisp, cool beer. It quickly became a staple for boilermakers after a hard day.

Our boilermaker specials run all month, but the perfect pairings culminate in one night of fun & frivolity.

ABOUT
WHITE BAY BREWERY

Situated on the shores of Sydney Harbour on the Balmain Peninsula, White Bay Brewery was started by a couple of mates in late 2019 with one goal in mind - create great beer that could be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere.

Perched inside a 150-year-old steel mill a stone’s throw from decommissioned power stations and silent dockyards, our brewery and backyard are not just reminders of but proudly protected monuments to the area’s working-class history.

After hundreds of beer releases, events and more than a few pandemic closures, we keep our feet rooted in a simple truth - beer has always been the drink of the common man; a simple pleasure amidst the complexity of life.

So, join us as our we combine forces for one night of great craft drinks, special releases, tasty food, and a few words from both camps on distilling & brewing. See you there!
