GINGER BEER RUM SOUR


Looking for a cocktail that warms you up while delivering a burst of flavor? A Select Cask #004 Ginger Beer Rum Sour is your perfect winter companion. This drink combines the robust character of our signature Brix Rum with the zesty kick of ginger beer. The sour notes add a refreshing twist, creating a dynamic blend that’s perfect for those chilly evenings.

INGREDIENTS 

60ML BRIX SELECT CASK #004

GINGER BEER FINISH

30ML LEMON JUICE

20ML SUGAR SYRUP

15ML EGG WHITE

METHOD

1) Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker & dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice 

2) Add ice and shake again until the shaker becomes ice cold 

3) Strain into a Rocks glass over a large block of ice

4) Garnish with a maraschino cherry

45ML BRIX AUSTRALIAN RUM

100ML COLA

LEMON WEDGE

METHOD

1) Add Brix Australian Rum to a highball glass & fill with ice 

2) Stir gently to chill 

3) Top with cola

4) Add a squeeze of lemon & garnish with a lemon wedge

45ML BRIX MANGO RUM​

10ML SIMPLE SYRUP

2 DASHES ANGOSTURA BITTERS 

1 DASH ANGOSTURA ORANGE BITTERS

DRIED MANGO TWIST​

METHOD

1) Add all ingredients to a mixing glass & add ice​

2) Stir for 30 seconds to desired dilution, tasting as you  go

3) Strain into a rocks glass over a large block of ice

4) Garnish with dried mango twist or orange peel

45ML BRIX SPICED RUM

30ML COFFEE LIQUEUR

30ML ESPRESSO OR COLD BREW COFFEE

10ML SIMPLE SYRUP

3 COFFEE BEANS​

METHOD

1) Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker & fill  with ice 

2) Shake hard until the shaker becomes ice cold 

3) Strain into a coupe glass 

4) Garnish with 3 coffee beans
